PROFILE OF CALVARY INTERNATIONAL
Calvary International was founded in 1981 by Dr. Daniel and Sharon Williams, which today has grown into dynamic international missions agency, with over 200 missionaries serving on 5 continents.
At the International Headquarters in Jacksonville, Florida, Calvary International is very active in recruiting, training and sending missionaries into the world-wide harvest, to help fulfill the Great Commission of reaching every person with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Calvary International has been very effective in cross-cultural evangelism and leadership training, equipping national pastors to plant churches among unreached people groups on the foreign mission field.
Calvary International has fostered a network of affiliated National Mission Agencies abroad, in order to generate global mission activity and maximize its impact in reaching the lost among the nations.
Calvary International Canada is among a number of national mission agencies affiliated with the global ministry of Calvary International.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
Calvary International Canada exists to:
- Help reach the lost among the unreached people groups and mega cities of the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
- Facilitate the training of indigenous leadership, equipping them to evangelize and plant churches in unreached areas;
- Inspire and encourage national leadership in the spiritual growth and social development of their own people.
OBJECTIVES
- To recruit, train, and deploy new missionaries into the world-wide harvest, for the advancement of the Christian faith, through various evangelism endeavours among unreached people groups, and through the training and equipping of indigenous leadership.
- To provide an opportunity for personal involvement and financial sponsorship of reaching the lost among the nations with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
- To provide an accountable means of managing and administrating the designated financial support of various mission activities, missionary personnel, and field projects of Calvary International Canada.
- To network with like minded ministries in Canada and abroad, in order to maximize our impact of reaching the lost among the nations to help fulfill the Great Commission in this generation.
